Counter Depth Refrigerators
Counter Depth Refrigerators: Sleek and Stylish
Counter depth refrigerators are between 25 and 27 inches deep. Counter
depth refrigerators line up exactly with the outer edge of the counter top. Though they may not be as deep as a
regular refrigerator, they are taller and wider. Some models come with drawer space to store your cookware. Be sure
to measure the height, depth and width of the space in which you plan to install your counter depth refrigerator.
Size for these refrigerators do vary.
Freezer Top Counter Depth Refrigerator
Freezer top counter depth refrigerators have the freezer compartment
on top of the the refrigerator department. This gives you easy access to the freezer compartment and all your
frozen goods. This counter depth refrigerator has the same layout as most standard
refrigerators.
Bottom Freezer Counter Depth Refrigerator
The bottom freezer counter depth refrigerator has the freezer
compartment on the bottom and the refrigerator compartment on the top. This allows you easier access to the
refrigerator compartment without having to bend over or strain your back to reach the bottom
drawers.
Double Door Counter Depth Refrigerator
A double door counter depth refrigerator has two doors side by side.
They both open outwards. One side, usually the left side, is the freezer compartment. And the other side, generally
the right side, is the refrigerator compartment. This counter depth refrigerator layout allows for more freezer
space. Though counter depth refrigerators are already going to be wider than the standard refrigerator, this double
door counter depth refrigerator is going to be even wider still. This is to ensure enough space to house the two
compartments side by side.
